In this role, you will be a key member of the Finance team, will provide you with the opportunity to help DME consulting finance team in day-to-day intercompany operational matters, reconciliations as well as month end and year end activities

During your tenure as an Associate, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:

  • Candidate must be well versed with accounting concept / GL Reconciliation with detailed insight on inter-company invoicing
  • Ensure all the inter-company invoicing is done within the timeline
  • Support AP, AR, payroll and VAT team for completing the end-to-end cycle for intercompany invoicing
  • Reconcile intercompany account balances and proactively resolve intercompany imbalances
  • Posting and reconciling Intercompany journal entries on both sides for cross-company enabled locations
  • Ownership of KPI delivery, and improvements where required, on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis w.r.t Invoicing between middle east entities
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate review, posting and reconciliation for the reporting of intercompany invoicing
  • Preparing SOP for various inter-company billing
  • Develop, document, implement and manage accounting processes, controls and systems to ensure appropriate level of internal control within intercompany dealings
  • Executing Intercompany agreements


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Have a close attention to detail and a global mindset
  • Experience working with financial systems and ability to leverage technology to achieve greater working efficiencies
  • Based in Dubai – UAE
  • Backrgound in: Accounts Payables, Depreciation of fixed Assets, Vendor Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliation, Prepaids, Accruals and Intercompany Reconciliation
  • Drive quality and accountability of results from initial input collection to final outcomes
  • Build strong relationships, establish trust, identify needs and motivate teams to drive operational and strategic priorities
  • Strong interpersonal/teaming skills and the ability to work effectively with and influence senior executives and business leaders
  • Superior PowerPoint, Excel, Excel macros and Microsoft Dynamics skills
  • Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken; Arabic preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in finance and accounting
  • 1- 3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience of working in a professional services organization is preferred but not essential
